Indigo Lakes Golf Club, Daytona Beach, Florida

106 11

Indigo Lakes Golf Club in Daytona Beach, Florida is a Lloyd Clifton design that once played host to the LPGA Championship, Hooters Championship and LPGA Qualifying School, and Indigo Lakes has been rated, time and again, as one of the “Top 10 Golf Courses in Florida” by GolfWeek Magazine. One of the older courses, and typical of the area, the Indigo Lakes Golf Club layout is a semi-woodland/wetland layout of more than 7,100-yards layout stretches through stands of old-growth pines and oaks with fairways that are often tight and bordered by woodlands and water (water on 10 holes).

The fairways were in perfect condition, as were the very quick greens; add more than a 100 sand traps around the course and you have a combination that makes Indigo Lakes one of the most challenging golf courses in Northeast Florida, and one of best.

The practice facilities at the club provide everything you need, including a 400-yard driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. So, if you’re thinking of staying in Daytona Beach, or at Palm Coast, or even north Orlando, Indigo Lakes is will provide an enjoyable golf experience.

The 18-hole Indigo Lakes course plays an intimidating 7,131 yards from the back tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.5 and the slope is 128. Designed by Lloyd Clifton, the Indigo Lakes golf course opened for play in 1976.

Green Fees: $65 weekends, $60 weekdays, includes golf cart; subject to change, so please check with the golf club for up to date rates.
