Wildwood Rally

• Wildwood Rally is a relatively new Washington motorcycle event, being only in its second year. The rally raises money for the Pacific County chapter of ABATE (A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education). The 2010 event is from July 9 to 11, 2010 at Wildwood RV Park, ensuring plenty of room for camping. You can buy tickets in advance for $5 cheaper than at the gate, and events include biker games, food and gear vendors, and live music.

Sun and Surf Run

• The Sun and Surf run is held from July 22 to 25, 2010 at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. This is a full-blown motorcycle rally, held since 1988, with poker runs, T-shirts, vendors, games and live music. Sponsored by Northwest Harley-Davidson and held in aid of Sun Charities, riders can enjoy safe parking in a lot fenced off for attending motorcycles, the barbecue and beer garden only. Over 3,000 riders are expected at this Washington motorcycle event. Attendees can sign up in advance and pay for either a general entry or the deluxe package with souvenirs like a T-shirt and patch.

WORCS Motorcycle Racing

• If you're a motorcycle off-roading enthusiast, the Washington leg of WORCS, the World Off-Road Championship Series, is held in Olympia, Washington on Aug. 6 to 8, 2010. The event is part eight of the 10th anniversary tour. There are race classes for riders aged 4 and older with qualifying rounds held prior to the main championship. Straddleline Off-Road Vehicle Park is the host, offering grand-stand views of the proceedings.

Sky Valley Antique and Classic Motorcycle Show

• For a change of pace from biker rallies, this Washington motorcycle event takes place on May 16, 2010 in Everett, Washington. Bike show registration is from 9 a.m. to noon and souvenir-collectors can get an optional ride pin and T-shirt. The show will be covered live by KZOK Radio and features vendors, live music, exhibits and a bike show. The winner of the bike show is decided by a vote of those present with awards handed out at 3 p.m. This is an outdoor motorcycle event based in downtown Everett which will be closed off for the occasion.
