How to Troubleshoot a Superlink USB Data Transfer
- 1). Inspect the USB cable. Make sure it is properly connected to a USB port on both computers. You may want to plug the cable into a different USB port on the computers, because occasionally a port may not function properly with the Superlink USB data transfer cable.
- 2). Make sure you have the file sharing software installed on both computers. This software came with the Superlink USB cable when you purchased the product.
- 3). Check to see if both computers are powered on. If the second computer is now powered on the computer you are currently using may not recognize the other computer, making it impossible to send data either to or from the computer.
- 4). Install all the drivers for the data transfer. These drivers came on a driver installation CD. Without the drivers the two computers are not going to detect one another.
