- A Cub Cadet is a lawn tractor that allows the user to sit atop its assembly and drive it across a lawn for trimming. It uses a gasoline-powered engine with a corresponding battery, mimicking an automotive engine on a smaller scale.
- If the Cub Cadet hasn't been used for a prolonged amount of time, the battery can discharge. To recharge it, select a lead-acid battery charger that has a variable current, or ampere, control. Set it to 10 amperes and allow it to fully charge.
- Keep in mind that not all chargers function the same way. If it is an automatic type, the charger will sense the full charge on the battery and shut itself off. If it is a manual type, make sure that the battery is connected to the charger for at least eight hours.
