- 1). Access DirecTV's website. DirecTV's website has a wide array of options to help you and keep you informed. You can preview schedules, add programming, view packages and purchase pay-per-view movies.
- 2). Register your account. To register your new online account, click on the "My Account" button at the top of the page and select "Register." From here, verify your account by either entering your account number and last four digits of your Social Security number, your last name, phone number and ZIP code with the last four digits of your Social Security number, or the account number, phone number and ZIP code. Enter the information for your account profile and complete your registration.
- 3). Log on to the account. To sign into your DirecTV account, click on the "My Account" option and select "Login." Enter your email address and your chosen password and select "Log In." You cannot pay your bill without logging in, so don't lose your email address and password. If you do not remember your selected email address click on "forgot email address?" to select one of the three options and click "Continue." If you have forgotten your password select "forgot password?" to enter your email address and click "Continue."
- 4). View the account details. There are several options available for you to view. Under "My Billing Summary" you can preview your current balance, payment options and billing methods. View recent orders, programming interests and sign up for various email subscriptions.
- 5). Pay your bill. When you are ready to pay your bill, click on "Payment" under the "My Account" option. Select to make a one time payment or to set up auto pay. If you are making a one time payment, enter your banking account or credit card information, the amount you want to pay, and select "Submit." To set up auto pay, click the "Auto Payment" tab, enter your credit card information, and click "Enroll in Auto-pay" to complete the payment option.
