It is not good to see that many Christian are still poor and choose to remain poor because of their misconception about God's prosperity agenda for all Christian and so many have been deceived about covenant wealth. Below will I be sharing few of these misconception that has allow many christian to remain poor.

Many Christian have been made to believe that;

Prosperity is the root of all evil. 1 Timothy 6:10
Many Christian are under the deception of the Devil that money belongs to the devil. Therefore they live all their days in poverty.

This is not true because it is the love of money that is the root of all evil and not money itself. The love of money is what the Bible described as covetousness. Note that silver and gold belongs to God. Haggai 2:8 God has made all things good from the beginning.

Prosperity corrupts holiness. Luke 18:21-25, Mark 10:24-25
God is the beginning of all things. He is the thrice holy God and yet prosperous. Wealth does not corrupt holiness but enhances your relationship with God. Abraham and Job were both righteous and rich and they went to heaven.

Prosperity is worldly. 1 John 2:15-17
Heaven is a symbol of wealth and the streets of heaven is also made of gold but pride and lust are the characteristics of the world. The source of true wealth is God, so prosperity is not worldly and does not in any way hinder us from serving God but it is a tool for the service of God.

Prosperity is materialistic. 2 Chronicles 26:5, Matthew 6:25-33
Living for material possession is what is materialistic. It is those that live for God that can enjoy the wealth of the kingdom of God. Supernatural prosperity is as a result of God's blessings and not a function of man's effort.

The reason for all these misconception is ignorance. Matthew 22:29 and the solution is revelation John 5:39, John 16:13.
