- 1). Select the "Start" Button located at the bottom of the screen. Wait for the menu to populate and navigate to the control panel.
- 2). Click "Control Panel" and locate the "Add or Remove Program" icon or "Programs or Features" icon, depending upon the model of your computer.
- 3). Wait for the programs to populate. This could take a minute or two, depending upon the amount of programs installed on your operating system.
- 4). Scroll down the list until you reach "MSN Messenger" (it may say "Live Messenger Beta" as well).
- 5). Click the "Remove" or "Uninstall" icon to start the removal process. Restart your computer when prompted to complete the process.
