- 1). Plug the DC strip into a working wall jack. Do not turn on the strip. Plug the DC-to-AC inverter into one of the available outlets. Do not plug any other devices into the strip while the inverter is connected to the strip.
- 2). Plug your battery charger into the inverter. Many laptop batteries connect directly into the power strip. Plug the power cable to one end of the laptop battery and the other end into the DC-to-AC inverter. Alternatively, connect a battery charger to the inverter. Insert the rechargeable batteries into the battery charger.
- 3). Power on the DC power strip by switching the power button to the "ON" position. After the batteries charge, switch the power button to "OFF."
