    • 1). Place an ice pack on top of the candle wax stain on your linens. If you don't have an ice pack, you can put ice cubes in a plastic bag. Leave the ice pack in place until the wax is hard.

    • 2). Lift the hard candle wax from your linens by gently scraping it off with a plastic scraper. Pry one edge up off the linen and slowly move the scraper under the remaining wax until it's completely separated from the fabric. Throw away the hard wax substance.

Pour a small amount of dry cleaning solvent onto a clean sponge and blot the remaining candle wax stain. Dry cleaning solvent removes any color stain left by the candle wax.

    • 4). Place a layer of paper towels on both sides of the candle wax stain. Iron over the stain with an iron heated to the "Low" heat setting. As wax residue transfers to the paper towels change to clean paper towels and continue to wick out as much wax as possible.
