How to Hide a Recipient's Address in Outlook Express
- 1). Open up a new email message form. Once you open up Microsoft Outlook Express, select the option to "Create Mail."
- 2). Select "View" from the top menu bar. Select the option for "All Headers." From here, type in the recipients email in the "To:" line and the hidden email address in the "Bcc:" line. If you do not have the email memorized, you can use the select recipient option.
- 3). Select the "Tools" option on the top menu bar. Scroll down the options and choose "Select Recipients." This opens a list of your contacts. Select the email address for the recipient. Click the button for "To:" and select the email address that you want to hide. Click the button for "Bcc:". Click the "OK" button.
- 4). Draft your email in the new message box. Once your email is written, click the send button. This sends the email to the recipient and sends a copy to the hidden email address.
