Singapore Travel Guide
A few years back Singapore was considered as the most sterile stopover places in the world, until; recently it has reinvented itself as the world's most visited destinations. Singapore is on the hot list of every tourist and every year thousands of tourists visiting this amazing city for different reasons.
Since, childhood I dreamt of visiting this enthralling city, until this year I decided that I will definitely go to Singapore for the New Year's Celebration. As soon as, I was done with the decision of visiting Singapore I got my flight and accommodation booked. Next, I packed my luggage wisely, bringing along only the things which I needed the most so that my bags weren't heavy for me to carry around.
My trip to Singapore was remarkable, because before leaving I planned what I wanted to do, what I wanted to see and where I wanted to eat and shop. Here are all the details of the places I went to, shop and dined from.
I'm a fool for natural wildlife. So the first thing I did when visiting Singapore was visiting the world's most famous zoo. Singapore has the most fascinating zoo in the world with more than 2,530 animal's residents. The interesting thing is that you can have the breakfast with the orangutans; the "Jungle Breakfast" is a buffet where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast with the orangutans. You can even snoop around the man-made African village's replica and enjoy the culture of Africa in Singapore.
I love nature, not only the wildlife, but also the plant life, the Singapore Botanic Gardens is the best place to see plant life, it is home to many rare plant species. The orchid garden has more than 1000 species and 2000 hybrids whereas the rainforest has around 300 different plantations out which some are considered to be rarely found in Singapore.
The National Museum of Singapore is the place to be, the architecture of the building is a typical neoclassical 19th Century building. The most amazing feature of this building is its cupola which comprises of around 50 crafted pieces of printed glass. This museum has a modern as well as classical look and focuses on exhibiting the rich and diverse culture of Singapore.
I absolutely loved the Singapore Flyer; it is the most iconic structural designs of Asia, after the famous London Eye the Singapore Flyer is the world's largest observation wheel it is 98 feet (30 meters) high. If you take a 20-minute trip on this flyer, you will get to enjoy different views of Singapore you can see the Marina Bay, Sentosa Island, Singapore River, and Changi Airport.
I love seafood and when I was searching for the best seafood restaurants in Singapore I came across this one, to my surprise they do have the best seafood dishes, so if you are also a seafood lover like me then this the place you should go to.
During the last days of my trip in Singapore I started packing up, but leaving home without any souvenirs and gifts is not at all a good idea.So I decided to go for shopping and I finally landed in this place. The Little Drom Store is a small Boutique style shop located in Chinatown with gift items like, candies, souvenirs, jewelry and toys.
