- 1). Navigate to the Yahoo! Avatars page at avatars.yahoo.com. Log in with your Yahoo! ID.
- 2). Click either "Male" or "Female" in the "Ready to begin?" portion of the page, and then click "Create my Avatar." This takes you to a page where you can see a generic avatar in basic clothes.
- 3). Click the "Appearance" tab to change your avatar's skin color, facial shape and eye color. You can also select his hairstyle and color here.
- 4). Click the "Apparel" tab to select an outfit for your character. You can select either a full outfit or pick individual tops and bottoms.
- 5). Click the other tabs, including "Extras," "Backgrounds" and "Branded," to liven up your avatar and personalize it even further.
- 6). Click the "Save Changes" button located below your avatar when you're done.
