Modern appliances are safer and more comfortable to use but machines and other coaching facilities should be in clean and in good order so if you see lots of 'out of order ' signs, it might be something to contemplate.

Never pass up the opportunity to attend a club function if you're invited prior to joining as it is surprising who you can meet and you might even find a coaching mate. While you do this research into the club, find out if the membership cost is reasonably stable each year and if there are any other costs involved not discussed on the club tariff. If you're serious about joining a health club, you'll really need to take a look at more than one ; after all it is your money! Take some time and do not let the club rush you into joining because a club that wants you as a member will put your requirements first if they're looking at keeping you contented.
