How to Make Firefox Look Different for Different People
- 1). Exit Firefox if it is running.
- 2). Right-click the Firefox shortcut, then select "Properties." Make a note of the full path to the Firefox executable "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" listed in the "Target" field.
- 3). Click "Start," then type "run" into the search box. Click the "Run" link and type "cmd," then press "Enter."
- 4). Type the full path to the Firefox executable from Step 2 into the Command window, adding the "-ProfileManager" at the end as in this example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -ProfileManager
Press "Enter." Firefox's Profile Manager will come up. - 5). Create a new profile by clicking on "Create Profile." Choose a profile and type it into the text field, then click "Finish." Firefox will start with the new profile. You can customize the browser in any way you want.
- 6). Choose which existing profile to use by continuing to launch Firefox with the "-ProfileManager" parameter and double-clicking the profile you want to use for that particular session.
