How to Make a Texas Holdem Table
- 1). Round off the corners of two 90-inch-long sheets of plywood using a jigsaw or skill saw. Cut the wood into either a continuous oval or a rectangle with rounded corners.
- 2). Cut out the entire middle of one plywood sheet to make a frame 6 inches wide and the same circumference of the table top.
- 3). Drill bolt holes into the table top plywood surface and the top of the folding table using a drill and bit. Center the table on the plywood, then bolt the plywood and table together using bolts, nuts and a wrench.
- 4). Cut the fabric and the foam padding with scissors or a razor blade into sheets large enough to cover one side of the solid table top.
- 5). Coat the table top plywood surface with adhesive spray along at least the edges and center of the wood. Stick the foam padding to the surface.
- 6). Spray the adhesive onto the foam surface, then stretch the fabric across that surface and stick it to the foam.
- 7). Cut out the remaining foam into strips that can surround the rail frame plywood on all sides except the bottom. Glue the pieces to the rails so foam surrounds the rails on those three sides.
- 8). Cut the remaining fabric into pieces that will wrap around the foam-covered rails and glue the fabric to the foam. Let the glue dry.
- 9). Glue the rails to the table top along its border.
