- 1). Insert both memory cards into the PS2.
- 2). Turn on the PS2 and make sure that there is no disc inside the system and that the lid is not open.
- 3). Press "X" after selecting "Browser." The next screen will show you both memory cards.
- 4). Select the memory card that has the "Metal Gear Solid 2" save file on it by pressing "X."
- 5). Find the save file and press "X" again.
- 6). Select "Copy." It should have your other memory card selected as the destination for the copy.
- 7). Wait for the transfer to complete. Once done, turn off the PS2 and put the memory card with the backup save file in a safe place.
