Texas abounds with history and agricultural and ranching experience. As such, the state is home to a range of fairs and festivals that are open to vendors who have unique items to sell. Most of the large fairs and festivals tend to fall outside the biggest cities in Texas, including Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio, which makes them easily accessible for vendors and visitors alike. - Located just north of Houston, Tomball is the setting for the German Heritage Festival, which is held during the last weekend of March every year. This festival celebrates the early German settlers of Texas in Tomball's downtown area by showcasing a variety of vendor-supplied foods and activities. The festival averages 120 vendors and welcomes approximately 15,000 visitors.
