• River boat cruise ships are smaller than cruise ships designed for large bodies of water and have fewer amenities. The average river boat will have a bar and lounge and swimming pool. The cabins have hair dryers, a telephone and television.
  
  

Travel

• Major airlines arrive in Cairo. From Cairo you will fly south to Aswan or Luxor on a small plane. In Aswan or Luxor a bus or van will take you to board your river boat. For specific locations along your journey you may also travel via a small boat or felucca.
  
  

Food

• While in Egypt be careful with what you eat. Wash your hands with soap and water often, especially before eating. Carry hand sanitizer with you. Only drink bottled water and carbonated drinks. Do not purchase and eat food from off the street. Breakfast and dinner will be served on the boat. You can trust the food served to you on the boat, but will pay for bottled water.
