Sync Your Google Calendar with Desktop Outlook

• 1). Download the Google Calendar Sync Tool (check the "Resources" section of this article).
  
  
• 2). When the dialog box appears, click "Save File." The saved file should then open, but if it doesn't, you can open it from the download window of your browser.
  
  
• 3). Once you open the file, a dialog box will appear asking if you are aware that this is an executable file. Click "OK."
  
  
• 4). The dialog box will now display the terms of service. Read these and click "I Agree."
  
  
• 5). Follow the prompts of the dialog box through the installation options. At the end, click "Install." This will finish the setup.
  
  
• 6). After the installation is complete, the Google Calendar Sync Settings dialog box will appear. Enter your Gmail address, password and the sync option of your choice. You can also set the time interval between syncing. The minimum interval is ten minutes.
