When you think of a credit card, you normally think of "adult" activity.
Yes, those that are over the age of 18.
So, technically at age 18, and 19, it's considered a teenager, but are you really a teen still? I suppose so, but we all know by now that you can get a credit card after 18.

If you apply online, you're going to want to make sure that you read the fine print.
Many companies online are going to want you to have a co-signer such as your Mom, or Dad.
If you don't get a co-signer, it's going to be tough to find someone that can really help you, so I can't really help you on that one.
Sure, you can walk into any old CVS and get a prepaid card, but make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.
You're going to find that there's generally a $7 activation fee, monthly fees, and so much garbage, you're going to end up spending $50 for a $25 card over the month, it's not worth it! All in all, if you can get your parents to help you with a prepaid card online, you're going to find that it's going to do a lot more good than harm.
Tell them that it works like a gift card, and it's going to be close to impossible to overspend.
