The examination set by IBPS for good Bank Jobs is definitely not a piece of cake. Thousands of hopeful applicants appear every year for the examination for getting posted in a good bank according to their educational qualifications. There however was a bit of dispute for IBPS Clerk Recruitment this year.
Apparently the board responsible for looking after the IBPS examination for clerical posts had introduced a new term of aptitude. It seems that hopeful applicants have to hold a minimum educational qualification of graduation in order to make the cut.
However, this did not go down too well with the ones who had initially made it successfully through the examinations. It seems that a greater percentage of the applicants who made it were endowed with a simple high school certificate. No wonder that decision was opposed and this raised several other concerns as well. For one, the board has been requested to lower the fees for applications that are sent to the different banks by almost half, since many it seems cannot afford it.
Another area of concern touched was of course the plea to make amends to the current system of IBPS examinations as well. It seems that roping in nineteen banks and appearing for a common written test has proved to be too much for most. Other restrictions in the system have made it worse for eligible people to make it to the banks.
However, the IBPS has also introduced another common written test for a whole different sector of the bank community. IBPS has introduced the system for RRB which stands for Rural Regional Banks. This new step has of course been received with mixed reactions.
For many however, this is good news since the spectrum of hiring banks has a significant addition to it. Now apart from the nineteen public sector banks which recruited the eligible for different posts, the regional banks are also going to do the same. This means that about 82 regional banks are going to be hiring for the different appeared applicants. The posts however will be same or may also stand to increase.
This comes as a relief for many because this is the first time a couple of decades that the
Rural Regional Banks are going to focus upon IBPS Clerk Recruitment. With several Bank Jobs in the horizon the number of applicants is expected to increase by quite a large number. IBPS will surely have so many more takers now.
