• If you plan on sharing your creations with a third party, the Body Shop outputs files with the .package extension. To convert them to .sims2skin, you need a free fan-created program called "Sims2 Packer."
  
  

Format Differences

• Loading a .package file means copying the individual pieces to various Sims 2 folders. To load a .sims2skin file, you simply double-click it.
  
  

Package Installer

• Though it functions invisibly, the program that actually loads the .sims2skin file is called PackageInstaller.exe. If your file is not loading, this application is missing and you need to reinstall it from the game disc.
