Looking to build your own storage building? Well, you're going to need storage building plans. Being the typical man, I thought I could "figure it out" my first time I tried to build a shed. Let me tell you, it was a disaster. My finished project looked more like a lean-to than a storage building. I suppose you could consider it functional. But, in a fight between it and a strong wind gust, I'm pretty sure the wind gust would win.

After that "experience" I looked at some of those storage building kits. So I went on a hunt. I ran down to Menards and then over to look at some of The Home Depot storage buildings. But, man those kits are expensive. It was going to cost me almost $1,000 just for a simple 8' X 8' shed.

So, I finally gave in and decided to search online for some free storage building plans. But I had a really hard time finding any plans that had enough detail to actually build full shed. All I could find were really simplistic plans. They generally just had the floor plan and maybe a simple framing diagram. But, didn't have important information like the pitch of the roof, how to build the doors, etc.

After a little more searching I found these incredible shed plans online. They had detailed diagrams that covered everything from setting the footing to framing, roofing, hanging the doors, building the ramp  - everything. It even had a full material list.
