    • 1). Open your Web browser and visit the WINE downloads page. Click on the link for your version of Linux to download the appropriate installation package to your computer. If you are running Ubuntu Linux, for example, click "Download Ubuntu Packages" to save the file to your hard drive.

    • 2). Double-click the WINE package file you just downloaded. Select the "Install" button to install WINE on your computer. No restart of your computer is necessary to complete the installation.

    • 3). Insert your "Dragon Age: Origins" installation DVD into your computer. An icon for the disc will appear on your Linux desktop. Double-click the icon.

    • 4). Select "Next" to install the "Dragon Age: Origins" game in Linux. Because WINE is also installed, the game will install identically to the way it would on a Windows machine.

    • 5). Click "Applications" at the top of your Linux desktop. Click the "WINE" folder and select the icon for "Dragon Age: Origins" to play the game on your Linux PC.
