How to Approach the Negotiating Table When Purchasing Class C Motorhomes

Fighting for the fair market value of class C motorhomes can be very difficult, in most cases most buyers are pinning their hopes to finding honest dealers that might prove to be even more difficult.
This is not to say that none can be found, but in a bucket of dealers, the possibility of scooping up the right people is probably three out of ten.
Class C motorhomes are sold at incredibly insane prices to start with, most dealers propped-up the initial selling prices of brand new class c RVs for sale from 15% to as high as 30% from their original purchase prices, probably to help allow them to bring down the prices when the need arises.
But to ill-informed buyers, a ripped-off will be inevitable.
Here are some useful tips on how to negotiate for the fair market value of RVs for sale before you approach the table.
Look Around Throwing away you money will not be a problem if you have plenty of them coming, in which case you should be looking at class A motorhomes instead, but the fact that you are interested in class C motorhomes means you value your money but you also want to experience a comfortable and luxurious camping.
This suggests that class C motorhomes are supposed to be extravagant yet inexpensive.
Tasks to do to increase your level of success
  • Run a list of motorhomes for sale dealers that you can find from all sources and asked for the initial offer for the class c motorhome of your preference.

  • They might not be ready to slash down their prices right away, tell them that you'll be making your purchase in ten days at the least to give them sometime to weight down their options.
    Offer a legitimate reason.
  • Watch your emails in the coming days leading to the cut-off period.
    You'd be surprise with the results.
  • Make a return call on the exact date, tell them that you are now ready to make the purchase and be sure to thank everyone for their hospitality but you have to go for the lowest offer you had.
  • If somebody shows some interest to offer a better deal, be accommodating.
  • Make your purchase three days after your self-imposed due date expires, by that time it is safe to say that no one else is interested to go any lower than their final offer.
Here are some of the reasons why the dealers can afford to offer class c motorhomes below 20-30% from the initial offer;
  1. Comfort Zones- Class c motorhomes are sold by dealers in flexible prices to be competitive.
    If a class c motorhome goes out for $70000, their probably looking at a $24000 buffer zone.
  2. Discounts- Aside from the original purchase price, motorhomes manufacturers gives generous discounts to dealers so they are actually paying less than the manufacturers' selling prices to direct consumers.
  3. Incentives-This is the main reason why the dealers can afford to loose a big chunk of their income from sales.
    The RVs for sale makers are paying the dealers for incentives if they reach the required quota or as agreed.
