- 1). Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the sound mixing board. The exact location of the USB port is going to depend on the make and model of mixing board you have mastered the stereo mix on.
- 2). Connect the other end of the USB cable to any USB port on the computer.
- 3). Power on the stereo mixing board and the computer states it has detected a new, removable device.
- 4). Click "Start" and "Computer," then double-click the removable device icon. A large window appears on the screen, featuring the mixed stereo audio on the mixing board.
- 5). Click and drag the audio files from the open window onto any location of the Windows Vista (such as the desktop or any other created folder). This download the files from the mixing board to the computer.
