How to Test IE6 on Vista
- 1). Double-click on the Internet Explorer 6 icon on your computer's desktop.
- 2). Go to the "TWC Speed Test" website (see "References" below).
- 3). Click on the "Local Speed Test" icon at top of the page.
- 4). Wait for the speed test to complete. Depending on your connection speed, this could take up to three minutes.
- 1). Double-click on the Internet Explorer 6 icon on your computer's desktop.
- 2). Go to the "Michigan State Internet Speed Test" website (see "References" below).
- 3). Go to the first drop-down menu and choose the connection that you are using. For example, if you are using a high-speed connection, choose this from the menu.
- 4). Click on a file that you wish to download. The larger files will give you a more accurate result.
- 5). Click on the "Run Test" option from the menu and wait for the test to complete. The completion of the test will rely heavily on your connection.
