    Time Warner Cable Speed Test

    • 1). Double-click on the Internet Explorer 6 icon on your computer's desktop.

    • 2). Go to the "TWC Speed Test" website (see "References" below).

    • 3). Click on the "Local Speed Test" icon at top of the page.

    • 4). Wait for the speed test to complete. Depending on your connection speed, this could take up to three minutes.

    Michigan State Internet Speed Test

    • 1). Double-click on the Internet Explorer 6 icon on your computer's desktop.

    • 2). Go to the "Michigan State Internet Speed Test" website (see "References" below).

    • 3). Go to the first drop-down menu and choose the connection that you are using. For example, if you are using a high-speed connection, choose this from the menu.

    • 4). Click on a file that you wish to download. The larger files will give you a more accurate result.

    • 5). Click on the "Run Test" option from the menu and wait for the test to complete. The completion of the test will rely heavily on your connection.

    Speedtest

    • 1). Double-click on the Internet Explorer 6 icon on your computer's desktop.

    • 2). Go to the "Speedtest" website (see "References" below).

    • 3). Click on the "Begin Test" option at the top of the menu.

    • 4). Wait for the test to "Ping" the test server. This should take about ten seconds.

    • 5). Wait for the test results; they will be displayed at the top of the page.
