How to Embed Google Maps on YouTube
- 1). Open your browser window so your Google Map appears full-screen on your monitor.
- 2). Click the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard to save the map as an image file.
- 3). Open MS Paint by clicking "Start," and then "Programs," then "Accessories," and then "Paint."
- 4). Click "Paste" or "Ctrl-V" to paste the "Print Screen" image from Google Maps onto your Paint canvas.
- 5). Grab the "Select" tool to crop out any parts of the map image that you don't want to appear in your YouTube project.
- 6). Click "Copy" or "Ctrl-C" to copy the new map.
- 7). Paste the new map into a new Paint canvas, then click "File" and "Save As." Give the file a name and save it as a .jpg file.
- 8). Open your video editor -- most likely Windows Movie Maker -- and start a new project by clicking "File," and then "New."
- 9). Import your .jpg image into the project by clicking "File," and then "Import Media Items." Select the .jpg image from the files on your computer, then click "Import." This will import your image and insert it onto the Timeline of Movie Maker.

Save your movie in a format that will be recognized by YouTube. Click "Movie Tasks," and then "Finish Movie," and then "Save to My Computer." Give your file a name and click "Next," then select "Best quality for playback on my computer," and then click "Finish." Your video will now be in a format that will be compatible with YouTube. - 11
Log in to YouTube with your username and password, then click "Upload." Select the video file you just created from the files on your computer and wait for the upload to finish. This may take several minutes or several hours, depending on the size of the video file.
