How to Remove a Malware Doctor Virus

    • 1). Launch the task manager by pressing "Ctrl," "Alt," and "Delete" together. Click "Process" tab. Scroll down and click "MalwareDoctor.exe." Click "End Process." Close the task manager.

    • 2). Double-click "My Computer" or "Computer" on the desktop and double-click the "C:" drive. Double-click the "Program Files" folder. Scroll down the folder, right-click the "Malware Doctor" folder and click "Delete." Deleting this folder removes the Malware Doctor folder.

    • 3). Go back to the "C:" drive and double-click the "Documents and Settings" folder. Double-click the "All Users" folder, and double-click the "Start Menu." Double-click the "Programs" folder and double-click the "Malware Doctor" folder. Right-click the "Malware Doctor.lnk" file and click "Delete."

    • 4). Click the Windows "Start" menu and click "Search" to launch the search tool. Click "All" or "All Files and Folders." Search for and delete the following file: MalwareDoctor.exe.

    • 5). Click the Windows "Start" menu and click "Run" or "Start Search." Type "regedit" (without quotes) and press "Enter" to launch the registry.

    • 6). Click "Edit" and click "Find" to launch the search tool. Search the following registry entries:

      %UserProfile%\Application Data\Malware Doctor
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\[RANDOM]
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\[RANDOM]\Languages
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\[RANDOM]\System Data Configuration
      C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\System Data Configuration

      Once you locate the entries, right-click them and click "Delete." Close the registry and empty the recycle bin.
