- 1). Unplug the handset cord from the phone. Do this at the phone end, not the handset end.
- 2). Plug the phone cord from the Plantronics headset's base station into the jack in which the handset cord was connected. Make sure you don't plug it into the Line jack, which looks similar.
- 3). Plug the handset cord from Step 1 into the handset jack in the bottom of the Plantronics base station. You unplugged the handset cord in Step 1.
- 4). Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet, and the cable from the AC adapter into the Plantronics base station's circular power jack; it's marked with plus and minus icons.
