People tend to jump right into an online business before properly educating themselves. Before you become a rocket scientist, a surgeon, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, An intelligent person wouldn't just jump right in uneducated.
The same applies to the Internet marketing industry because there still dishonest people out there who'd have you believe it's a "Piece of Cake" and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.
I will admit, it is a piece of cake compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock. Having someone tell when you can go to lunch, when you can nurse your children, or even take a break., Just like anything else there are still rules you have to follow and adversity you must avoid to genuinely make Online marketing work for you.
In harsh reality many people do not make any real money, but there quite a few people still profiting heavily on the internet. Makes you wonder " Why is that?"
I would begins with the an old school riddle, "Why is water wet?"? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don't think many of us do either.
But one thing I do understand before you go into anything and expect to be success you must have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business.
Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. Basically you would find products and services that you would naturally be interested in even if you wasn't planning on marketing this product or service. Something you are familiar with as well..
There are people out there who are so educated on marketing and promoting that they can actually not use Passion as a motivational tool. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.
Lets be honest, Passion not is the only thing necessary. There are many other characteristics to be successful. You must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. All those components are often provided from the company you join - but not having Passion can reduce your chances for success dramatically.
Just think. If you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you really won't take the work you are being taught seriously.
Making Money is not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to keep you going in the beginning with no decrease in learning effort so that you won't make any foolish mistakes.
Internet search engine is a great resource to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!
Using the search engine you can find companies that you like and have confidence in. It should be legit, founded on great principles, and simple to understand with excellent products and services that are maketable for which you can have Passion. If not, move on,
The internet search engine will provide the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.
People who come to the conclusion, well, that one alright and the compensation plan is ok so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision motivated on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" does that, don't be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.
Note: It's your goal to get to the level where you can sell about anything on the internet. That skill and goal is where you to be at the end of the day.
Don't forget, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don't first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.
Not having Passion about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a downfall you simply must be able to counter.
