This is not the first time a stray cat has presented her rescuer with a litter of kittens. Street cats have an instinct that their babies deserve better lives.

Molly is a two-year-old tortie that I've had since her birth. She loves to get under the covers whenever she can. I came in one night to find her like this!
Her mother was a stray kitten when I adopted her and she had a "surprise" litter soon after I took her in. I thought she was done with her litter so I left her to bond with her three new babies. When I came back in a half an hour later, Molly was there, another surprise!

Her poor mother was so exhausted that she didn't have the strength the finish the delivery so I had to help her with that. But Molly's little triangle on her face is so adorable that I took one look at her and knew that she was staying with us, no matter what!
