  "Madden NFL 2000" is the year 2000 version of the Madden football gaming series. Just like in its previous iterations, you play as one of your favorite football teams as you pass, tackle and kick a football around. You must score more points than the opposing team after four gaming quarters in order to win. Progress through the season until you face the best team in the finals and win the top spot as NFL champion.
  
  

Passes and First Downs

• There are two codes available to achieve better passes. To get an instant "100-Yard Pass" enter the code "PIGSKINFLY" in the password section of the game. To simply just have better catches, use the password "MAGMASAVE." And to prevent any interceptions during a throw, use the code "VICEGRIP." Then to modify the first downs to 20 yards, enter the password "FIRSTIS20;" and for 5 yards just use "POPWARNER."
