- 1). Visit the "FBI Tips and Public Leads" website.
- 2). Enter your contact information. This includes your full name, phone number, email address and home address.
- 3). Enter information about the misuse of the NCIC. Be detailed and specific, but keep in mind that there is a 7,500 character limit.
- 4). Enter the five digits on the bottom of the website before clicking the "Submit" button. These five digits are used only to confirm that you are a real person, not a computer program trying to submit phony tips.
Keep in mind that you may or may not be contacted by an investigator.
