Finding an Activity That We Enjoy Is Key to Reaching Fitness Goals
Hello all, My name is Lisa and I am a wife and mother of three.
I have two college age kids, and one that's in grade school.
I work full time and have started article writing as a hobby but hope I hope to be able to find more time to devote to my writing very soon.
One subject that is near and dear to me because it is something that is constantly on my mind is fitness and weight management.
I have had my share of success and failure when it comes to fitness.
If I can advise the ultimate rule for success it is motivation.
Becoming and staying fit is more mental than it is physical.
What I mean is that If our mind is ready to incorporate fitness than it will happen.
So what I've found is that the key to attaining our goals is to get involved in enjoyable activities.
This is by far the first and most important concept to grasp.
It is crucial in our fitness plans to find activities that are fun to keep us motivated.
If we look at exercise as a chore than we most likely will do it for a little while and then give up.
The program that has proven to be fun and exciting for me is Zumba Fitness.
It is a sure fire motivation tool.
I was introduced to this fairly new exercise program and fell in love with it instantly.
It is a fun and exciting way to get into shape.
I think that once you try it you'll be hooked.
For those of you that have not heard of it is a high energy dance program that is sure to take off the pounds here is a little info.
It is a dance/fitness workout program.
It's a high energy, feel good way to get in shape.
Learning the moves can be a challenge for some but once you get the hang of it you'll discover how much fun it is.
My gym offers classes so this is where I was introduced to Zumba.
A friend of mine started the program and she was as amazed as I was.
 Whether you try this program and experience the excitement or you choose some other program I suggest finding something that you find enjoyable to start with.
Then you can build on that as time passes.
