How to Stop Your Cat From Peeing On The Carpet
- 1). Clean the carpet completely, use Resolve Dual Action, A Rug doctor, or a professional Carpet cleaner. Remove any and all odor from the carpet.
- 2). Make sure your cat's kitty box is not obstructed. Near the dog, near a high traffic area, where everyone can see the cat. Cats are very self conscious and will pee anywhere if their litter box isn't suitable.
- 3). Now spray a solution of 10 percent Apple Cider Vinegar and 90 percent water near the pee mark. The smell will keep your cat from coming back to this area
- 4). If you catch your cat peeing, do something like Yell, spray him/her with water, or something that your cat will remember and always associate with peeing there.
- 5). This should work after one try if it doesn't move you cats litter box as they probably don't like the current location
