- 1). Go to Avast's update page (see Resources).
- 2). Click on the "Download" link next to the most recent update under "Update avast! VPS" and save the download to your hard drive.
- 3). Run the downloaded update file (it will be called something similar to "vpsupd.exe") to install the most recent updates on your computer. If you wish to install updates on a computer that is not connected to the Internet, copy the update file onto a flash drive (insert a flash drive into an open USB port and drag and drop the update file into the window for the flash drive), and then insert the flash drive into the secondary computer and run the update installer.
