  DreamCatcher Interactive released Woody Woodpecker: Escape From Buzz Buzzard Park in 2002 for the Playstation 2. This three-dimensional game chronicles the classic cartoon character's adventure to rescue Splinter and Knothead, his niece and nephew. Buzz Buzzard has kidnapped the two, and it is up to Woody to save them. Players must apply a fair amount of skill to complete the tricky maneuvers required to beat the game.

Special Moves

• Press and hold the square button until the power meter reaches 100%, then release the button to perform a "Super Peck" move.
  
  Tap the square button to perform a Spear Peck move. This move is helpful when battling multiple ducks.
  
  Holding the "X" button for one second will cause Woody Woodpecker to perform a midair flip.
  
  

Unlock Knothead

• To unlock the character Knothead, finish Pirate Ship Part C by beating Buzz. Save and quit the game, then reload the saved game. Hit the right arrow and you will see the option to play as Knothead.
  
  

Game Techniques

• To cross the tricky hole on the Pirate Ship Part B, leap toward the wooden wall, then quickly tap the square button to make Woody peck. Woody will climb the wall then flip to the other side.
  
  Throughout the game you will encounter lightning attacks. To safely avoid these lightning attacks, stand next to a spear-topped pole. Lightning will not strike you while standing in this position.
