The home church should plan and execute the disciple ship process with precise accuracy.
This is a hard task.
It is not easy to become a disciple of Christ.
It is easy to become a Christian.
Today we have weakened and diluted the Christian message.
Salvation is free through grace of God.
Receiving Jesus as your savior is just a matter of seconds.
However, to make him Lord of all the areas of your life is quite a different story.
Let us not forget that our Lord said that the way to hell is broad and many find it.
Nevertheless, the way to heaven is narrow and few only find it.
The parable of the sower mentions the condition of the heart to be able to bear fruit.
All types of soil can receive the seed, but only the good soil with bear fruit.
So is the Christian.
Just because he hears and received the word with joy does not mean he or she is going to bear fruit.
Home church is the pace to prepare the heart and make it good.
Discipleship has to do with bearing fruit.
There are two types of fruits.
One is personal life before God.
God is pleased with faith only.
Developing a life of faith is adventurous.
God's ways are not acceptable today.
We are caught up by so many worldly values as Christian it is a difficult task to extricate them.
The second is the fruit bearing life.
Bringing, as many should to the kingdom is our true fruit.
So in order to bear some fruits, our hearts must be good to receive the word of life.
Only the word of God can set us right.
Only God can work within our hearts to purify and cleanse us.
The home church is well suited for discipline and watching over the new converts.
They need constant watch.
Never underestimate the schemes of the enemy.
He is always roaming around trying to snatch any new Christian he can.
We need to guard them from his tricks and traps.
The training is intense and slow.
It takes time to clean the old and fill the new.
Remember again the admonition of Paul that our minds are the best resource for this job.
Do not be conformed to this world thinking.
Transform into new creatures after God's kingdom.
God is faithful and he will do it for us through the home church.
