Internet Marketing - How to Quit Writing So Many Articles!

103 7
Article marketing is truly one of the best ways to get massive traffic to your website.
The traffic is pre-qualified, too! The only problem with article marketing is you have to write, or have someone else write, hundreds if not thousands of articles.
Wouldn't it be great if there were a way around this? There is! I have a small website that sells a product in a very narrowly defined niche.
I use search engine optimization and article marketing to advertise the site.
I get a few thousand visitors per month from my efforts a large percentage of which are through the articles I've written.
What's cool is this! I only wrote nine articles! You don't normally get that much traffic through one article.
But I did something special with these articles that magnified their effect.
I social bookmarked them in about thirty social bookmarking sites.
In case you don't know, social bookmarking is a Web 2.
0 phenomenon where you post sites you like to other sites like Digg, Propeller, and StumbleUpon.
Once posted, sites are made available for other users of these social bookmarking sites through a variety of ways, keywords, tags, friends being linked to one another, front pages, or through software that shows sites to users according to their preferences.
The power of social bookmarking for our article marketing efforts lies in two things.
One: Google likes posts on sites like Digg and Propeller.
So, if your article doesn't rank well for a certain keyword phrase on its own, the Digg listing could easily rank much higher.
Two: users often go directly from Digg, Propeller, or StumbleUpon to your article, completely by-passing Google.
Social bookmarking your articles magnifies your results.
I've got articles that I've social bookmarked that have been visited several thousand times over the past few months.
This would have never happened if I hadn't spent some time social bookmarking the article.
