- 1). Open "Finder" from the Apple menu or Dock.
- 2). Click "Applications" and locate the application icon you wish to add to the Dock.
- 3). Click and hold the icon.
- 4). Drag the icon onto the Dock. The other icons move out of the way of the new icon.
- 5). Release the mouse button and the icon appears on the Dock.
