Reno and Sparks Spring and Fall Street Vibrations

    • The adjacent cities of Sparks and Reno each host one half of the Street Vibrations motorcycle celebration. Both Nevada motorcycle events are fairly typical rallies with group rides, vendors, contests, music and games. The spring rally is held in Sparks from June 4 to 6, and the fall rally is Reno's contribution. Participants with their motorcycles pay a fee, but otherwise the spring rally is free to the general public.

The fall rally is a larger-scale event held from Sept. 22 to 26, hosting more than 25,000 motorcycles, according to Thunder Press. While the main show is in Reno, there are also events in Carson City, Virginia City and the surrounding regions. There is an entry fee with pre-registration possible, and some of the proceeds are given to the Juvenile Diabetes Association. The registration gives access to meals, secured parking and other perks. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and carry motorcycle insurance.
