- 1). Start Norton Internet Security and click "User accounts" to see what Norton account is active. If you are not signed on as a supervisor, click "Log off" and select "Yes" to confirm and close the current account.
- 2). Click "Log on" and select "supervisor" on the account name list. Type the supervisor password. If you did not set the account with a password, leave the password space blank. Click "OK" to log into the account.
- 3). Click "Status and settings" and choose "Security." Click "Turn off" to disable Norton Internet Security. Move to the next step to turn off the Norton Personal Firewall.
- 4). Start Norton Personal Firewall and click the "Status and settings" button. Click "Security" and choose "Turn off" to disable the Norton Personal Firewall.
