- 1). Open a web browser and navigate to the Windows Live Mail website. Sign in using your Windows Live ID.
- 2). Click on "Hotmail" and then select "Options" in the Hotmail Highlights section. In the "Managing your account" subsection, click "Email forwarding."
- 3). Click the "Forward your mail to another email account" radio button. Enter your Gmail address into the dialogue box. Check the "Keep a copy of forwarded messages" box to keep the Hotmail inbox intact, or leave it empty to remove messages after forwarding. Click "Save."
- 4). Sign out of Windows Live Mail and navigate to the Gmail website. Sign in using your Google Account to view incoming Live Mail messages.
