How to Remove Hazing From Lexan

    • 1). Fill the bucket with water. Put the sandpaper in the bucket and let it soften for 10 minutes. Wrap the sandpaper around the sanding block. Sand down the Lexan using the sanding block, frequently spraying the surface with water from the spray bottle, to keep the sandpaper wet.

    • 2). Apply the cutting compound to the Lexan. Attach the foam buffing pad to the drill. Work the plastic polish around the surface with the drill and foam pad, adding more cutting compound to cover the area, as necessary.

    • 3). Wipe off any excess compound from the surface using a microfiber towel. Apply the Lexan polish to the surface and work it around the surface with the wool pad. Wipe the surface clean with a microfiber towel.
