- 1). Click the white text bar at the bottom of your screen. A flashing text parser will appear in the text box and indicate the text bar is selected.
- 2). Ensure that your keyboard's "Num Lock" is enabled. Press the "Num Lock" key if your keyboard's Num Lock light is not lit. You can only enter symbols if the "Num Lock" is enabled.
- 3). Press and hold the "Alt" key, then press the number pad keys that correspond to the symbol you wish to display. To type the bomb symbol, for example, hold "Alt" and press the "0", "1", "3" and "4" keys.
- 4). Release the "Alt" key. The symbol for the alt code you typed will appear in the text box. Press the "Enter" key to transmit the symbol to other users in your room.
- 5). Use the On-Screen Keyboard as an alternative to create symbols in Habbo Hotel on Windows-based computers. Launch the On-Screen Keyboard by opening the "Start" menu, navigating to the "All Programs," "Accessories" and "Accessibility" menu folders and clicking the On-Screen Keyboard icon. Click the "Alt" key on the On-Screen Keyboard, type the symbol code on your keypad, and click the "Alt" key again to create the symbol.
