- 1). Insert batteries in your Apple mouse.
- 2). Open the Bluetooth preferences window by clicking "System"-->"Preferences"-->"Bluetooth."
- 3). Click "Setup New Device" in the Bluetooth window.
- 4). Click "Apple Wireless Mouse" in the "Device Search" list, which shows locally available Bluetooth devices.
- 5). Click the "PIN Options" button.
- 6). Click "0000 (Most Headsets, Mice and GPS Devices)" under "Fixed PIN" and click "Close."
- 7). Pair the mouse with Ubuntu by clicking "Forward."
