How to Remove McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
- 1). Click the "Start" button on your computer.
- 2). Click "Run" if you are using Windows XP. If you are using Vista, you will be using the "Search" box.
- 3). Type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) in the text box and press "Enter."
- 4). When the Command Prompt opens, type "cd\" (no quotation marks).
- 5). Type "cd program files" (no quotes) on the next line, and hit "Enter."
- 6). If you are using McAfee 8.0, type "cd network associates" (no quotes), and hit "Enter." If you are using McAfee 8.5, type "cd mcafee" (no quotes), and press "Enter."
- 7). Type "cd common framework" (no quotes), and then hit "Enter."
- 8). Type "frminst /remove=agent" (no quotes), and press "Enter." After this, the McAfee Agent and Updater Setup will appear and begin removing the ePolicy Orchestrator.
