Ever since the arrival of stink bugs in your house, you are having sleepless night everyday.
You find these bugs everywhere in your house - in the kitchen, near the curtain, behind the drawer and you suspect there are more of these bugs in places that you could not see or seldom go.
Your children freak out whenever they see these bugs.
They hate the stinky smell and some of them are even being bitten by these bugs.
Although the bite by these bugs is not serious, nevertheless it does bring pain and a not-so-pleasant experience to your kids.
You are clueless on the next course of action to control these stink bugs as this is your first encounter with them.

Use of insecticide If you see a large group of these bugs outside your house, then you can consider using insecticide to get rid of them.
The advantage of using insecticide is that it can be used over a long-term to get rid of these bugs.
The downside is that you may also wipe out other bugs that are beneficial as your spray the insecticide all over the place.
A reminder that you cannot spray insecticide inside your house as it is poisonous.

You never know if they may be alive several hours later.

Replace outdoor lighting If you used to switch on the outside light every night, then you need to be warned as stink bugs are attracted to bright light and heat.
Having your normal light switch-on will get a lot of attention from these bugs and they be arrive in groups to your doorstep.
If for any reasons that you need to switch on these lights outside your house, change them to something that is not so bright, for example yellow bulb.
In the mean time, you need to seal of any cracks or openings around the windows and doors to prevent these bugs from entering your house.
Stink bugs are small insects and they go through with a very small gaps or openings.
Now that you know of at least two methods to control stink bugs, start taking action today.
