Eldridge was convicted of shooting to death Cynthia Bogany, his former girlfriend and her nine-year-old daughter, Chirrisa Bogany.

Eldridge broke into Bogany's apartment and shot Chirrisa as she slept on the couch. After chasing Cynthia's boyfriend from the apartment he returned to the living room and shot his natural seven-year-old son in the shoulder.

He then chased Cynthia down a stairwell outside the apartment and shot her to death as she begged for her life.
